Mr. Mike Ramos
Mike Ramos is the Information Tech at Cardinal Ritter H.S. and Came to the dept as the Marching Drill Writer. After striking up a conversation about Marching Band with Mr. Guanajuato, he was offered a job as the Assistant Band Director and Director of Marching and Drill Composition in 2005. A long lasting friendship has endured with Mr. Guanajuato. The 2 Men serve as the nucleus for the direction of the Marching Band. Mr. Guanajuato says of his friend, “Mr. Ramos is a talented man with visuals in the drill that continues to amaze me. Not only is he amazing with students but his talents with the spiritual side of life keep a wonderful balance between students and the drill. Mr. Ramos is a gift from God. I am proud to know Mr. Ramos as a great friend and the younger brother I never had. If God gave me a choice, I would choose Mike to be my brother. “
Upon Mr. Ramos learning of the above quote, he was asked about his friendship with Mr. Guanajuato and his reasons for staying with the program for so long. His answer: “I lost a bet”
Mr. Ramos is married to his wife, Liz who is on staff here at Cardinal Ritter H.S. They attend Holy Name Catholic Church.
Mr. Ramos thinks the Chicago Cubs will NEVER win a world’s Series and thinks the earth is round.
